Seems to be the spin on hardball tonight as well. Reports of taliban fleeing. As Chris Matthews just said they came to ride pickup trucks and capture and torture folks who didnt follow their brand of Islam. They may have a gun but are certainly no match for us and not willing to die for Allah. Show is repeated at 8pm on cnbc in east if anyone cares to watch.
Iran seems to be cemented in this alliance now that they are getting nuclear reactors from Russia while with Russia supplying arms to the northern alliance. Quid quo pro to abandon terrorism? Clerics in Iran are fighting a battle with moderates recently elected in democratic election. Times they may be changing. And Jerome, if you are listening please dont again confuse iran with iraq.
