I think the country can live with a shutdown...although a Republican majority in the House may not be able to.

What I AM worried about is a DEFAULT and I don't see the Republicans being ready to raise the debt ceiling any time soon. If the Republicans keep holding out for an end to Obamacare then we COULD very well see a default.

This IS extortion by the Republicans and that's how at least 80% of America will see it.
