In all honesty, I do not disagree with you. I see patterns ( candles and western) as either continuations or reversals. (You only know with hindsight). God only know how many times I have seen a "continuation pattern" reverse. My read of the evening star is a psychological one. Bullishness/Uncertainty/Bearishness. That is all (I believe) that you can take away with it. Personally I like to see them near resistance and overbought, but that is just my criteria. -macavity
