No sign of lagging economy here Donnie. I-45 to Houston getting more crowded. New HD, new Applebys, houses out the gazoo. One of those new Denneys made of tin, so noisy I refuse to go back except in emergencies.
More than 150 airplanes ( mostly twins) flew into Alliance for that Nascars race.
Neighbors wife working for big T installing Dsl lines. One week wait to have car fixed at Chev.
One of my brokers lost his job at Mwd inside Ranger stadium tho,and is not happy as no longer can see the games from the glass suite unless invited. After making 500 trades at Mwd they shut down my free trading
so they are hurting a bit I guess. If I send 50k to Txxx at his new place, I will get unlimited free on-line trading.
So I think the brokers are desperate for clients as reported and will give some good deals if you move.
Brokerages may be good shorts.
GEAC is not doing well, nor I guess is Bmcs. But my relatives still have their jobs. Anyone working for Dell
(steady job with future) should be grateful. But this boom in TX is not indicative of what other areas may be doing
Glad to hear your business is OK.
