AFCI, DSC and Ciena (I believe), have the same venture capitalist sitting on their boards. To me, this smells of conflict.

I don't know what's behind the failure, but I agree it doesn't look good.

I know some guys who know Bayliss, one of the Ciena backers. I'll see if they know anything.
