Andy and Bzooka, <that means down 13.50>, not exactly The CME NSD100 value you see on Globex is a futures contract based on a market cap weighted index of the 100 largest non financial domestic companies listed on Nasdaq. Cash close today was 1034.06, the Dec contract closed at 1040. The Nasdaq index you see widely quoted (ie. CNBC) is a cash index comprising all listed stocks and closed today at 1623.44. The correlation is not direct. Here's a link to the description of the futures contract. cme.com
