OK, I wasn't entirely accurate about the commisions, but close. Here they are:

Stocks - Web Trading
Commissions per order - Canadian and U.S. Stocks (minimum $29)*
Share price.....1,000 shares or less.....Greater than 1,000 shares
$0 - $0.245.......$29...........................1.5%
$0.25 - $1........$29...........................$0.005/share
$1.01 - $2........$29...........................$0.02/share
$2.01 and over....$29...........................$0.03/share

So on a 2000 share order of IMON ($10000) the commish would be $60 US.
Whatever it is, it's still much higher than George Brown, datek or Ameritrade.
