MLPs: Miller Howard has a couple recent articles that are well worth the read. One is a commentary on the WSJ "MLP frenzy" story titled "MLP Valuation Update." The other is a great overview of the value proposition: "MLP Strategy One-On-One Presentation." You can access the articles, as well as several others of interest at the link below (not sure if you have to register, but if so it's free and you do not get bombarded with spam). mhinvest.com Miller Howard comments on WSJ "MLP Frenzy" story The investment firm Miller Howard, which has been a long-term proponent of MLPs, put out a short response to the WSJ article with a few valuation comps. They conclude "MLPs are no longer table-pounding cheap as they were at the end of 2008 and into 2009. But they are not expensive, and do not reflect excesses among investors, in our view."
