I ordered FIOS TV a couple of weeks ago, I have had their phone service since day one, and their FIOS internet for a few years. No complaints on phone and internet. The best I could get them to was $109.99 for the 3 services (TV,Phone, Internet)in MD.
Yesterday, I cancelled the TV and went back to my satellite, Dish Network.
I had that multiroom DVR with FIOS, one problem with it I didn't like, my wife didn't like, and the kids didn't like: You can't stop and rewind TV except on that TV. With Dish Network, we have the DVR in bedroom, they run a splitter to the family room.
You can stop, pause and rewind both those TVs at any time.
I pay $5 per month for that.
With the FIOS one, you can only do that on the one TV it is hooked to. The advantage to FIOS was that you could then watch 3 different recorded programs on 3 different TVs at the same time. |
