Hi Eric, nice to hear you had a good experience with your FIOS installation, as I did.
We went with the 15 Mbps down but I'm not sure you would notice that much difference since the other side usually can't produce anything close to it. But I have noticed that some podcasts from Apples iTunes for my iPod, say Sunday Morning TV shows (e.g. Meet the Press), download really fast these days - and often 4 or 5 podcasts at the same time. I've also noticed you get really good "TV reception" when watching international TV-on-demand. Also broadcast internet TV from say:
streamick.com
So it's a good thing to be ready when programming providers now are ready to start pushing it out fast!
We don't have digital TV yet mostly because we really prefer the interface, capacity and features of our (3) ReplayTV DVRs. But Comcast is starting to give us trouble - moving HBO and Cinemax off their analog system. So we may go with FIOS TV soon. At that time we will have a really good reason to to get us some new TVs too...

Lars

PS your wife may have to watch CN8 here:
cp.cn8.tv

just double-click on the picture for full size. I guess one could "DVR it" in the computer...
