Hate to do this, Woody, but I have to disagree with you that blaming illegals for our fires is nonsense.

It is very possible that it is true. Illegals coming across the border are known to cross on public land. A friend who owned property and lived north of the San Diego border, would see them crossing his land regularly. That area is usually very dry. Fire danger from cigs alone is high.

And in the mountainous areas where I live, they often camp and grow pot and do other nefarious things. One spark in dry hot weather and we have fires.

We know for a fact that the fire near me this summer was caused by an arsonist. They never told us if he was illegal - We are a "sanctuary state" ya know.
