They already have a 5% or more stake in tiny ILDS.

ILDS has an 18.5% interest in the Lucky Friday run by Hecla. It'll be some months before they start collecting that percentage (when Hecla's capital costs are recouped).

But USA's bigger interest is ILDS's West Independence property, which they own 100%. That property is likely to be spun off into a separate company, then sell to a larger player (USA?) whole, or doing a similar deal like with the Lucky Friday. I think the former is more likely. It's apparently a rich, promising property.
