More precisely, in Krauthammer says that in 2008 he could not figure out whether Obama was of the center-left, throwing bones to the left, or of the left, throwing bones to the center. As soon as Obama started to govern, Charles figured out that Obama was a leftist -- and since then, he has not at all been oblivious to the danger of a democracy governed by a man who does not respect democratic limits.

It is true that Limbaugh had Obama figured out sooner. I think living in the Beltway just makes you so cynical about rhetoric that you discount everything that a candidate says.
