-- Ray probably should have said "the military/industrial complex" instead of just "the military". Makes sense. I wish it didn't. There's that chilling and cryptic speech by Eisenhower, of all people -- the source of the phrase "military industrial complex". The speech suggest that some (most?) generals are loyal to the ideals of their position, but also that the highest of them could feel powerless. - Charles
