If I could have an implant to perceive MORE things, I'd be tempted to do it. I've love to see in the UV spectrum on occasion. It would be neat to see infrared. And if you could turn it off- why NOT? the more senses you have, the more information you have, and the more ideas you have (imo). Information to the brain is growth and life.
