People were desperate and the first day FDR was elected he told his aid Henry Hobson: "go out and find out what the people need and get back to me----- today"

That is why the people kept electing him. He cared about them.
Your hero, King Franklin I, is provably the most evil person ever to live in the USA. In the entire history of the Republic, there is only 1 person whose actions were so un-American, so evil, that it was necessary to amend the constitution to prevent a repeat. The 22nd amendment was necessary to ensure there would never be a King Franklin II.
Nixon did terrible things, but the system worked and he was forced to resign. King Franklin I was truly evil, and broke the system. His death was a day to celebrate!
