Well I do believe obama's great society proposals will be using up trillions and trillions. As an engineer who has done cost benefit analysis and with direct contacts with those who are remaking Iraq, it has not and will not cost trillions. It may even pay back in less than a decade. But that is unpopular math. Some do not consider the idea of a good offense being the best defense. It is obvious to me that America could spend a trillion a month on security guarding the home front and still be far less safe than taking an aggressive campaign to heart of the area that breeds the 5th century hate mindset that creates human bombs. Jimmy Carter thought differently about his brother religious in Iran. obama seems very much in tune with Jimmy Carter thinking. And obama has maybe 10% of Jimmy Carters executive experience.
