<I imagine most of the people in SI are do-it-yourself types with discount brokerage accounts. Is that a fair assessment?>
Quite possibly but not I. I need to help support my old buddy who is a full service broker. I don't do much day trading and especially not with few cent gains, but overall I trade quite often, so it does add up. You should look into all the discounts and even e trading. One thing that I have found with a full service broker is that, mine anyway, can trade wherever I want, pink sheets for example (many people in Canada had a tough time this week on another one I am in trying to find a broker who could handle, OTC BB pink sheets), whatever, with no problem. He will also dig out or try to get answers to any of my questions, he'll call CFO's for me, etc. That's worth something to me.
Good luck with any trading you do. AGP is long term for me. Now just watch you don't get too addicted to SI and the pennies, and it is addictive, but also a heck of a lot of fun.
