Blankmind: I agree with you 100%. I was expecting to pay US$40.00 to US$50/share for this stock, that was the word on the street for the IPO of QXL.COM weeks before it hit the market. When they introduced the IPO at US$16/share, I still figured if I put in a market order, I would still end up paying US$40.00 to US$50/share. But the way the UK handled the IPO everyone picked them up at about the same price at US$16/share, give or take a few cents. What kind of business is QXL doing in their person-to-person auction so far in Europe? How many consumers are involved in their type of auction, what country are they doing the most P/P business in Europe.? I think their only big competition is eBay and that the European market is going to be too big for just 1 Internet company of this type. I nearly bought eBay when they were US$16.00/share. I knew in my heart their business model was going to catch on and skyrocket and it would break your heart to see this thing rose from US$16.00/share to US$650.00/share before the 3-1 split. QXL has to explode in Europe. Person-to-person auction was designed for the Europeans.
