Malcolm, it's obvious that in fact Taiwan is a separate independent country, whatever words are wrapped around it. They run their own passport system, they control their own borders, they determine their own laws, they do all the things which countries do.

They don't look like idiotic statements to me. They look perfectly sensible and correct.

Can you explain in a reasoned way why you think that Taiwan is part of China? Maybe you think Canada and the USA are still part of Great Britain and the British Empire and any day now they'll be back in the fold.

Adolf took over Poland and other parts of Europe which he considered to rightfully be part of Germany. It's weird how megalomaniacs feel a huge sense of entitlement. But that's just how they are.
