I've always felt that way myself about DRAM companies. However, I was thinking if some of the newer technology DRAM's could be scooped by a smaller company that was public...but you're probably right in your analogy. Interesting what Rambus has been doing, as pointed out by our fellow EE from Intel, L. Adam Lathan (#5485). Oops, your profile says PHD, but not your major. I'd always assumed EE because of your awesome responses here from one end of that spectrum to the other. Could be Physics or CS also, though.
