News Flash!!! Technical Sell Alerts
Panther (PTHR NASDAQ OTC) and JNR Resources (JNN,V)
These two oldies have come back to life this week and unloading now would make technical sense.
Panther has just doubled over the last three days and has triggered a technical SELL. PTHR is 100% overbought and has penetrated the upper Bollinger Bands today. Last 19 cents. Technically, tomorrow would be a good time to unload and move on.
JNR Resources is also up over 50% this week ending today at 18 cents. I expect some strong selling to occur as long time supporter, John Kaiser, in his "Bottom Fishing Report" suggested bailing out by the time the winter-spring exploration program starts to be promoted.
JNN, like Panther, is 100% overbought and the upper Bollinger Band has been penetrated.
************************************************** HEADS UP ALERT!! NEW: CHEQUEMATE TECHNOLOGIES (CQMT, NASD, OTC BB)
BEST PICK FOR 1999 and BEYOND...
Everyone is always looking for the next new technological wave. Can you imagine if you owned Microsoft before anyone heard of it? What if you had the chance to get in on the ground floor with the Compact Disk technology, VCR's, Pentium Processors, and the like. I'll tell you , you would be sitting very pretty today.
OK, GET READY! THIS IS THE NEW WAVE OF ENTERTAINMENT! 3-D TELEVISION
Many of you I'm sure have seen a 3D IMAX movie. If you haven't, you should. The experience will give you some idea of the HUGE potential 3-D viewing has for television.
The television industry has been trying to make this technology work for years but has unable to figure out. However, a small unheard of company from Saltlake City, Utah has the answer.
This innovation represents a quantum leap in entertainment and television technology. Just taking a look at the evolution of TV, in the 1950's we had the basic black and white box then in the 60's colour TV's became popular. The 70's saw cleaner pictures thanks largely to the expansion of cable networks. In the 1980's, big screen TV and surround sound became the audiophile's toys of choice. The big jump in the 1990's has been digitalized stereo surround sound and Digital Video Disks and digital satellite dishes.
When you think about it, basically the sound and picture quality have improved greatly though the image is still on a flat 2-D screen.
Now think about 3-D television and what that would be like the next time you are watching the boob tube. This will be an awesome and hugely popular "must have" just as the VCR has become common in most households.
Remember before TV, people flocked to the movie theatres. Going to the movies was the new wave of entertainment at that time. Today, 3-D movie going is all the rage. I have heard that IMAX is starting up 6,000 new theatres! Obviously, people love the realism which only 3-D viewing can provide.
Consider how 2-D TV has taken off since the 1950's. Now think about the potential of 3-D TV. A simple kit is added to a television cable input and electronic glasses are worn (not those cheesy glasses worn at theatres) which is all it takes to enter into a new dimension of television viewing.
This weekend I'll discuss Chequemate's marketing plan and I will brainstorm the blue sky potential of this product which will include the right to exclusive marketing contracts with SPECIFIC television manufacturers, the TV broadcasting companies, video sales and much more.
Think about this. If you could buy brand "A" TV which had the 3D technology installed or the standard brand "B" TV all for about the same price, what would you buy?
Taking it a step further, if you where the TV manufacturer wouldn't you want to be selling your models with 3-D technology already installed?
Anyway, let's expand on this later. For now take a hard look at this stock...

CHEQUEMATE TECHNOLOGIES (CQMT, NASD, OTC BB)
Technically, CQMT, is 91% oversold and has fallen off its November high of $4.00 closing today at $2.78. (See the attached chart)
For a stock like this, our Technical Trading Board will start accumulating a core position then later a trading position in order to play the highs and lows while maintaining a long term hold.
The next support level is at $2.50. A second core position will be added if it breaches this support or when a definitive technical upturn occurs.
