>"contrarian appeal" I don't here that one to often. 02/07 07:08 DJ Baird Ups Agilent To Outperform Citing Improving Outlook NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Baird upgraded Agilent Technologies Inc.(A) to outperform from neutral because the stock's current valuation has "contrarian appeal." The broker said Agilent's long-term outlook has improved following its extensive restructuring. Baird, however, said its upgrade isn't intended to signal the quarter's results as the first quarter is traditionally weak in the sector. The broker added that structural changes aided by end-market diversity should enable Agilent to "profitably weather normal business cycles."
