I hadn't thought too much about hydrocarbon hoarding as the smart thing to do, but maybe you are right. After all, if peak oil is coming, shouldn't we be hoarding our oil? And if so, doesn't that mean that we should be going all out to diversify our energy sources and wean ourselves off of oil? BTW, do you have any good links on sun cycle 25? I want to read more about that.
