lol i got to clean out the grease pit once. i remember we had a kp pusher at survey school. this sargent would yell and scream all day at you, never experienced a nut like this guy and I have met some screamers in my life. So i played hard of hearing all day long. Then when he was leaving late afternoon i said good luck. He jumped up and down and really got so pissed off that i could hear. says wait till i get you on kp again. Told him shipping out to another unit maybe second time around. g I used to wonder where the Army got some of these guys. We had an instructor rejoin , nice guy, said he couldn't adjust to the outside so came back into the Army, I figure guy was in late thirties. That last unit i was with for almost six weeks did nothing all day. I mean nothing. It was awful to see several men meet each morning, a sargent come by take roll , you could tell this guy been through everything, one time he came by in dress and his chest was full of medals. A very quiet yet proud guy. He never said more than a few words and left to return later in the day.
