the boy is in 2nd grade now. He's doing great in school, both socially and academically. He's also a hell of a soccer player (he's the Sweeper, defensive position...nicknamed "the wall").

interestingly....don't know how many of you remember, but I got a Jackson Magnolia tree as a gift from the threadmates (yo Lost1!) when jackson was born...it is thriving in the backyard and he knows that it is "his" tree.
