Nokia also involved: etsetb.upc.es The candidate student will be offer an Internship by Nokia Networks in Aalborg, Denmark. S/he will be part of a research team currently working on schemes aiming at increasing peak bit rates and spectral efficiency in mobile systems beyond 3G. Some of the schemes s/he will investigate, like Adaptive Modulation and Coding Schemes (AMCS) or Advanced Packet Scheduling (APS), are currently under investigation as part of the development of the High Speed Downlink Packet Access HSDPA) standard proposal. The research group located in Aalborg works in close cooperation with the Cellular Systems research group of the Center for PersonKommunikation (CPK) located in the very nearby Aalborg University (AAU). The candidate student will be supervised by a joint team of Nokia and university employees. - Eric -
