Sorry, I didn't mean to sound mean spirited but I thought that this issue had been addressed so many times it was getting annoying. Now I may be wrong about this, but I don't see how any company can issue more shares than they have authorized without approval of the stock holders. It is the owners (i.e. the stockholders) who authorize additional shares to begin with. At any rate, looks like we'll have to wait. I am kind of disappointed that Intel didn't think ahead and ask for such approval months ago. Oh well, split or no split I continue to see a bright future for INTC.
