Ever heard of GNET? Look up a year to date chart vs. your picks. Surprised? GNET owns SI (where we post), 100hot.com and the onfire HyperMart.net, just to name a few. It is one of the best M/A targets of any internet stock.
GNET finished today @ 56 1/8, UP 2 5/8th, GNET added Barnsandnoble today and a top MSFT exec yesterday, it just split.
On Bloomberg's top one hundred stocks, GNET was number 30 and had the best YTD results out of all 100. My money is in GNET and has been since shortly after it went public. Any list of "the best" internet stocks to own in 1999 without GNET is a bum list IMO and on any chart YTD. BLUE
