Being that SHOW is in the biz of large format film production and presentation, IMAX is about the ONLY logical company to purchase them. It will benefit IMAX to receive Olympic properties rights and gobble some competition. Traditional Film companies generally do not have the interest in these esoteric films and companies. If IMAX wants SHOW at 4 bucks and will use stock for the purchase, then the deal would be something like 1 share of IMAXF for approx. 6 shares of SHOW. IMAXF is at about 23 bucks now. 6 shares of SHOW currently can be purchased for .81. 6X.81= 4.86. So by buying SHOW, we could hypothetically get shares of 23 dollar IMAXF for under 5 dollars. NOT TOO SHABBY. PROVIDED the rumors that IMAX plans to buy Showscan at 4/per are true. Rande Is PS>>> I can never get enough of IMAX films...watch them whenever I am near one of their theatres. Wish there was one near Nashville. I think Huntsville, AL is the closest.
