Parents would not want to see the attributes in their children that would make them a good President.


I would modify that to "that would make them a successful candidate for President."

I think if one could be magically transported into the Presidency without having to run for it, one could actually have admirable qualities and do well at it. Qualities like honest, integrity, and refusal to be bought by special interests.

Sadly, these attributes make one unelectable. No matter which party one is from, and no matter what one's place on the political spectrum.
