Includes the EducatorsPortal.com, CA-magazine.com, and Matrix-magazine.com

Mystic, CT - July 13, 2000 - USA Video Interactive (NBQ: USVO; CDNX: US; www.usvo.com) has been selected as the webcaster and streaming media provider for the Educational Media family of Web sites, including The EducatorsPortal.com, CA-magazine.com, and Matrix-magazine.com. These sites complement and extend the company's education magazines which reach more than 100,000 top-level education decision makers in every school district, college and university in the United States. With this agreement, Educational Media will work with USA Video Interactive to offer "video ads" to its clients and web advertisers, and to provide a variety of streaming media resources and enhanced editorial capabilities to its sites.

"The Educational Media publications and websites have been an influential force in bringing technology to education," said Edwin Molina, President and CEO of USA Video Interactive. "A good example is SchoolTone Magazine, which was established to support the SchoolTone Alliance, an organization created by Sun Microsystems and other leading Internet and education technology companies to make school technology easier to acquire and use." Among the nearly two dozen members of The SchoolTone Alliance (www.schooltone.com) are AboveNet, Blackboard, Britannica, Exodus Communications, Jason Foundation, Lucent Technologies, Sun Microsystems and USA Video Interactive. USA Video Interactive serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of The SchoolTone Alliance.

"We are moving aggressively to provide our customers with the best web-based education news, information, and resources," said Daniel E. Kinnaman, Executive Vice President and Group Publisher at Educational Media LLC. "The combination of its streaming audio and video technologies and its commitment to the education market, make USA Video Interactive a valuable partner in these efforts, and we are enthusiastic about adding its technology to our sites."
