Palace Software Chosen for Georgia Tech Experiment

BEAVERTON, Ore., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- When Georgia Tech
opens its doors today for the 1997-1998 academic year, many
incoming freshmen will be encouraged to don graphical
representations of themselves to converse on the Internet as part
of a pilot study by the university's innovative School of
Literature, Communication and Culture (LCC). The experiment will
involve the use of multimedia virtual community/chatroom software
from The Palace Inc. and extend to seven of the 42 sections of
freshman English.
