"Since most workers pay more in payroll taxes than they do in income taxes" They pay about 7 5/8% in FICA/MediCare, which is matched by their employers (I pay 15 1/4% because I work for myself). I don't lie about this. But I seperate it from Fed Income tax, because it IS separate from the Income tax. The gov't borrowing against it does not mean that people don't get the benefits. I think we should ABOLISH FICA/MC and the benefits. Make people take care of themselves. What about the point so often made by demos that Bush's tax cuts are only for the rich? I noticed you were silent on that. Two steve Dietrichs (or is it Steve dietrichs)? That is pretty scary.
