What is that I hear????? I think it's the school bell ringing! Darn! That means that there will be no more harassing in the playground, no more tittering around the lockers, and no more intimidating in the girls' room. It's time to face day one of the new year. We'll learn more about our history and geography, discuss current events and perhaps discover new ways of interacting with our peers. There is even a newly designed course on anger management! What a great year this will be! But, alas! We will have to leave our baggage at the steps of the school and enter as refreshed students ready to learn from each other without remembering the petty differences from our former year. (Let us hope that we are adult enough to become models for our children.) Marie
