The information does not have to be apples to apples to be useful.

Almost every stock in the sector trades in line with the SOX nearly all the time. Sure there are some exceptions for short periods of time. But it's hard to find a stock in the semiconductor or semi-equipment industries that does not ultimately rise and fall in line with the way the SOX trades.

That's regardless of whether it's part of the ever evolving list of stocks that Don shares data on now as opposed to many years ago.

How useful the data in anything posted here is 100% predicated on how well the individual reader interprets it.

I am always skeptical that analysts expectations for earning are wrong. I'm even skeptical that some past earnings information has been massaged to make a company look better, or worse, than they are actually doing at any particular time.

What I am not skeptical about is Don's tremendous efforts. He shares the very data that glues this whole thread together. He does it in an extremely benevolent fashion. Does he cover every stock that readers here would like to see covered? Nope, but I have a hard time keeping up with the ones he does cover. And the data?

It is useful. He has improved his tables and the content tremendously over the years.

Anyway, I just want to say thank you Don again for all your fine efforts!
