That's accurate. I look at it like fire and smoke. They are different but analysis will lead someone to draw conclusions about the two and will suggest a common origin. If we are products of a creative event, then there are signatures left upon us by that creative event that should help us understand some of the nature of it. That isn't to say any of us can ever hope to understand all of it, but we will increase our knowledge and become closer to understanding our roots, vis-a-vis our origin in that event.
