I'm thinking of buying puts on JPM and BSC in early Q3. JPM - Jan 2008, $25 or $30 puts and BSC Jan 2008, $60 PUTS. Anybody thinking along these lines? My reason for Jan 2008 - just hoping the credit events happen by then. Early Q3 because, I think Fed stops at 5% and some rally after that. No scientific reason - just a gut opinion (usually finances do well until Q2 earnings report - just a guess again). Anybody else having any such ideas on financials?
