Bernanke is not a Supreme Court nominee with a life time appointment. He is a government bureaucrat who was a member of the Bush inner economic circle. Bush has appointed every member of the FOMC. I just wonder how independent the Fed really is here.

You gotta "play ball" and "not cause waves" to make it as Gov't Bureaucrat.
