Set-top boxes are the hangup in the triple play business.

DirecTV has ambitions of using Mpeg4/h.264, but their set-top boxes are still Mpeg2 codecs.

So until they have set-top boxes, their business will continue to run on older set-top boxes.

This is also happening at cable MSOs. Cisco is not yet supplying new set-top boxes with QAM and multiplexers. Cable modem for broadband also has to have new set-top boxes. Wgnr set-top boxes has to be compatible with ARRS D5 headends. Wgnr's own headend does not give them enough customers for set-top boxes.

ARRS has work cut out for themselves. Their cmts cable modem is reaching end of life; no new models are approved by cables yet for broadband only customers, wishing ipTV and voip phones. Such as AOL server farm cable modem banks?

So, even ARRS has to think thru their business prospects?.
