Barrick problem with glaciers in Argentina and Chile, per Harvey Organ

The Situation Is Even More Dire Than I Imagined

tfmetalsreport.com

Takeaway: If Barrick has already sold as-yet-unmined Argentine silver to SLW, and now has a problem accessing it because it was blatantly planning to move glaciers, they would need to buy silver somewhere, to deliver to SLW. Better to buy rights from a neighboring producer, than to go on the open market.

My thought is that Hochchild (51% owner of San Jose, of which MUX is 49% owner) could arrange to sell the silver in Argentina to Barrick, at terms favorable to us, with payment in US dollars external to Argentina. :-)

Just a thought.
