ISSI Announces 166 MHz Sync SRAM
Five New SRAMs for Networking, Cache and Telecom
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISSI - news) today
announced the availability of a family of synchronous 2M-bit SRAMs. With 4-Byte data busses, clock speeds up to
166Mhz (pipelined) or an access time of 8.5 ns (flowthrough) these very high speed devices provide memory
solutions for advanced cache and network systems. Now in high volume production, these devices -- the
IS61SF6436, IS61SF6432, IS61SP6436, IS61S6432 and IS61LV6432 -- are ideal for use with the pipelined
architectures of communications switches and routers and are also compatible with the Intel, AMD and Cyrix CPUs
of today, as well as 100+ MHz future generations.
''We've quickly ramped production of these five new devices to meet increasing demand for memory devices which
are compatible with specific application architectures,'' said Bob Cushman, ISSI's vice president of corporate

operation and optional burst modes, make them ideal for networking and telecom applications, as well as for the
traditional cache uses.''
With the addition of these five new, high-speed, clocked devices, ISSI's synchronous product family now includes
1-, 2-, and 4-M bit densities, data bus widths of 32, 36 and 64 bits, flowthrough and pipelined operation options,
3.3V and 2.5V I/O levels and clock speeds from 4.0 nano seconds.
