Gottfried, I know Gateway is sort of our pet OEM around here, but my long ago experience with them was not exactly encouraging, either. They couldn't seem to reconcile their web configuration tool with what they would actually sell to you. More entertainingly, their salespeople had these goofy pseudonyms. Hogan? Magnus? I ended up canceling the order, but I eventually got a gateway mobo (Intel Venus, identified as gateway in the bios) equivalent to the guts of that system for $50 from a liquidator. It's still running reliably, though. Cheers, Dan.
