evolution.<<

You are being facetious, caveman. Evolution is the PROCESS OF CHANGE
in any dynamical system OVER TIME. Is that specific enough for you?

>>Referring to the disputed idea that life forms on earth came into being by "evolution" which consists gradual change entirely through random chance and entirely in contradiction of the 2nd law of thermodynamics.<<

Although, John Galt does not subscibe to stable-state theories, your
interpretation of the 2nd law of thermodynamics is, nonetheless, flawed. Life devours life, or haven't you noticed! Energy and matter
is transformed but held in constancy, according to the theory, unless
acted upon externally. John Galt fails to see a contradiction, but,
again, he does not subscribe to stable-state theories. But, rather,
to quantum theory of minimal energy states.

Evolution is not necessarily uni-directional. Systems do not necessarily evolve into more complex systems. Take, for instance, the appendix, or, specifically, your own brain, caveman. Sometimes the process of evolution can leave extraneous baggage.

>>A brain as complex as yours could not possibly have evolved by chance.<<

Think, again, caveman. The random interplay of events, John Galt, sees as part of the equation. He is not an all or nothing thinker like yourself. Determinancy (observation and causation) and Indeterminancy (random events) are flip sides to the same coin.

>>God gave you your brain, along with the rest of your physical body.<<

Nobody gave me anything. I just happened.
