CNN MONEYWEEK discussed international internet stocks today but unfortunately no mention made of Canadian stocks.Some of the names mentioned included: Sweden BOKUS.COM and BOXMAN(plan to go public this year) Britain EASY NET and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GROUP Germany DEUTSCHE TELEKOM Israel CHECKPOINT SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES LTD Singapore PACIFIC INTERNET(expects to be the first East Asian internet company to list in the US---this month) Japan SOFTBANK(major shareholder of Yahoo) NIFTY(Japans leading online provider not public but owned by FUJITSU and ? spelling NISHOEWI) .................... Toronto's Globe and Mail today listed top 10 Canadian tech stocks this past year and while not as spectacular as their US counterparts still had some reasonable returns. Top 3 TEKLOGIX INT up 463% GLYKO BIOMEDICAL LTD up 440% and MPACT IMMEDIA 332%
