Telkonet Signs with MST, Trump Properties Communications Service Provider

Multi-Property Agreement to Provide Broadband Internet to Over 7,500 Units
GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2005--Telkonet, Inc. (Amex:TKO - News), the leader in providing in-building broadband access over existing electrical wiring, today announced that it has teamed with Microwave Satellite Technologies (MST) to provide a complete Internet solution, including NuVision Broadband (TM), to residents in Trump properties in New York, including the Trump Place, Trump World Tower, and the Trump International Hotel and Tower. MST is a global communications technology company that provides wired and wireless data, video, and voice services to multi-national corporations, commercial properties, and multi-family residences throughout the United States.

The prestigious 140 Riverside Boulevard at Trump Place, a 30 story 356 unit apartment building, is the first building that is currently being installed with the MST's NuVision Broadband(TM) service using Telkonet's unique (PLC) power line communications solution for broadband Internet access. Once this installation is complete, the remaining six buildings with a total of 2,121 units in Trump Place will be installed, as well as an additional eight buildings that will be built over the next four years, for a grand total of 7,500 units. In addition, installations will be completed this year in the Trump World Tower and the Trump International Hotel and Tower. Beyond these Trump properties, the MST/Telkonet solution is scheduled to be deployed in other apartments and an assisted living facility in the New York area, with a total of 456 units.
