Re: SYQT sale

This is a fantastic deal for IOM and its shareholders. IOM now has a near-monopoly on the removable drive market and will be able to pursue SYQT's pending IP and trade secret claims against Castlewood for its own benefit. In addition, this now gives IOM's Nomai unit something useful to do since they were in the SYQT-compatible media business before they successfully greenmailed IOM last year. I'm sure there will be a tidy profit to be made in supplying media for the now-obsolete SYQT install base as well as ample opportunity to convince that base to convert to the main IOM product line over time.

At $9.5 million IOM and its shareholder got a bona fide bargain.
