Are we going to see gold go under $300 ?? Apparently, a lot more European selling today. This together with no inflation is making gold a little more tarnished.

I've always thought gold stocks were overepresented in the Canadian indexes, this has been a major reason why the TSE has lagged the Dow/S&P. This attitude of Canada still being an economy of "hewers of wood and drawers of water", has to change. I say we replace some these resource stocks with high-tech companies. This would better reflect the modern Canadian economy. You don't hear a lot of discussion on these threads of investing in MacBlo, Falconbridge, and other dinosaurs. Do you ?
