Kiddie porn...

Not a big issue for me. It just doesn't hit anywhere near home. BUT...

In our area, some teens decided to extract a few thousand dollars from their teacher, threatening the man with exposing the fact that he had downloaded some porn and was storing it on his computer. The teens 'befriended' his son and once inside his house, tampered with his computer, planted evidence, and gathered material needed to perpetrate their plan. Now we all know that once the authorities get wind of this type of accusation, the man's career, pension, good name, respect, marriage, and family life and lifetime of savings, is shot. Knowing what's in store, the teacher takes his life. The teens now face a few months punishment and are shielded from publicity, thanks to the Young Offenders travesty. While the teacher leaves behind a widow.

What puzzles me, is why, when the teacher was about to take his own life, he didn't do the world a great big favour and get rid of the teens first.

Cheers, PW.
