//gg// By all technical measures, VTSS is overpriced. They will earn .80 by 9/97 and 1.01 by 9/98 (according to Zacks). Their current p/e is 46, and forward looking p/e is 30. Despite of GaAs enthusiasm, the short term outlook for this stock is down. Momentum stocks are all down, no matter how much they earned or how much they are projected to earn. Overpriced stocks in other areas have been correcting and semi and equipment will not be an exception. VTSS will be a good buy in high teens (sorry to say this for those who are long). Until then, short sellers will control. JMHO. I don't have any position in VTSS but watching carefully. /gg/
